Newest Mindgasms Book Review that is part 2 of my series on the “evil” critical race theorist, Derrick Bell’s book called Silent Covenants. It’s about the American Supreme Court’s case called Brown vs. Board of Education in 1954, which desgregated black and white schools. Contrary to the impression of critical race theorists like Derrick Bell that you would get from intellectual frauds like James Lindsay, he was not a cringy woke Progressive. Bell thought that desegregating black and white schools was a mistake because if it had been done more gradually, antagonizing racists in both the Republican and Democratic party into blocking progress of the Civil Rights Movement would have been avoided. In spite of the fact that the Conservative economist, Thomas Sowell, totally agrees with him about this, he literally compared Bell to Hitler for apparently protesting a new professor being hired because she was not black.
Mindgasms Book Review that is part 1 in my new series on “Silent Covenants” by the lawyer and Critical Race Theorist named Derrick Bell. This video is about his opinion in the book that the American legal case of Brown vs. Board of Education in 1954 that ended with the Supreme Court desegregating black schools, was a mistake. He still thought that desegregation in general is morally good, but also that the way it was implemented assumed that missing white and black students would inherently solve problems of disproportionate outcomes for black students. Bell believes that the “separate but equal” clause should have been emphasized instead, focusing on giving equal funding to both black and white schools, and that desegregation should have been done more incrememtnally and gradually. This is very interesting because the Conservative economist, Thomas Sowell has made this same point many times before, and most people assume that critical race theorists like Derrick Bell are woke lefties.
