Newest Woke Centrist Book Club Chat with the Woke Centrist and I on Soul of the Fire, the fifth novel in the Sword of Truth epic fantasy series, by Terry Goodkind. This is definitely the weirdest one so far, and one of the worst. It’s better than the absolute worst, which is the third one, but not as good as the previous book. There are a whole bunch of random and convoluted details to do with the plot, different cultures and characters that are inadvertently hilarious. The magic use and rules also seem to change in order to accomodate what might otherwise be plot holes.
