Newest Mindgasms Movie Chat with Scazio, Chris James and the Woke Centrist on From Dusk Till Dawn, the 1996 film written by and starring Quentin Tarantino, directed by Robert Rodriguez, and also starring George Clooney, Harvey Keitel and Juliette Lewis. Clooney and Tarantino play thieves and brothers who are on the run from the cops after the latter busts the former out of jail. They go on a killing spree, Tarantino plays a creepy, crazy, delusional pedophile rapist, and they take Harvey Keitel’s character and his kids hostage to get smuggled across the American border to Mexico. Keitel plays a priest who lost his faith after his wife died in a car accident. They all make it across the border, and head for a strip club to rendevous with Carlos, Clooney’s drug dealer friend who is one of the multiple roles played by Cheech Marin. It turns out that the club is a den for vampires, and epic vampire battles ensue for basically the rest of the movie.

There are badass gun fu and wire fu battles, Nicolas Cage’s character acting crazy, and John Travolta’s character acting the same when he is pretending to be former’s character. Check out my last Mindgasms Quickie about how and why Gollum and Sam are the true and most important heroes in The Lord of the Rings, the classic epic fantasy novel/trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien. Frodo would have been unable to destroy the ring without the unshakeable dedication of Sam, along with the rage and craving for it that caused Gollum to accidentally destroy it. Not only did Sam take care of Frodo more and more as the story progressed, he carried the ring for a short period of time without being corrupted by it at all when he thought that the latter had been killed by Shelob. He even literally carried Frodo on his back up Mount Doom! Bilbo sparing Gollum’s life when he had the opportunity to kill him in The Hobbit was necessary so that the latter could lead Sam and Frodo into Mordor, then eventually bite the ring off of Frodo’s finger and fall into the fires of Mount Doom, destroying it:
