Newest Mindgasms Book Review that is part 10 in my series on the Post-Structural philosopher and historian, Michel Foucault’s book called The History of Sexuality: Volume 1. This video is about the way that societies have looked at incest in the family unit, and made laws about it, along with how these have changed throughout history. The culture and laws around incest changed during The Enlightenment in the 1700s.
Mindgasms Book Review that is part 9 in my series on the French Post-Structuralist philosopher, Michel Foucault’s book called The History of Sexuality: Volume 1. This video is about how during The Enlightenment, from the 1600s to the 1800s and beyond, women and children were sexualized by the institutions of science and religion. What was labelled as sexual perversion was also psychologized and declared to be a psychiatric flaw. Procreation was socialized to be seen as inherently good as well.
