Newest Mindgasms Quickie review of Dexter: New Blood, season one, the sequel show to the original “Dexter.” This is set 10 years after the events of the final season, where Dexter is hiding in plain sight under a new identity. His past catches up with him when his son, Harrison, finds him. Dexter struggles to be a good father while keeping his true dark and murderous nature a secret. The wrath of one of Dexter’s victim’s family members makes it harder and harder to protect his son without revealing his true nature, and succumbing to the temptation to take Harrison under his Dark Passenger’s wing.

I talk about the execution in terms of how it looks stylistically in comparison to the orignal trilogy, the degree to which the plot makes sense, along with the epic kung-fu and gun battles in comparison to those in the previous movies.
