Newest Mindgasms Book Review that is part 4 in my series on the book by the Critical Race Theorist, Derrick Bell, called Silent Covenants. This section is about how rich white elites deliberately financially screwed over poor white people during slavery, incuding the fact that political leaders wouldn’t give them voting rights. So, not only did black slaves get their lives destroyed by slavery, but only rich white elites received the benefits of slavery. Everyone else suffered. Obviously, the slaves suffered more than anyone else. However, the fact that Derrick Bell focuses on these financial differences between different classes of white people shows that he is nowhere near as woke as the stereotypical picture of Critical Race Theorists that anti-woke people like Jordan Peterson and James Lindsay paint.
