It’s a philosophical examination of what assholes are, how they are created, whether they’re good or bad, and how they can be dealt with. This section is about James’ claim that assholes can be a force for good in the world. They can achieve positive results with negative methods. One example is General Macarthur’s assholery ensuring that Japan got rebulit after World War 2.
