Beyond Order Rule 6: Jordan Peterson Wants You to “ABANDON IDEOLOGY” (and Adapt His OWN Ideology!)

Newest Mindgasms Book Review in my series on the internet famous clinical psychologist, Jordan Peterson’s newest book called Beyond Order. This is a sequel to his “12 Rules for Life,” and has 12 more rules. Apparently, the first ones were not enough. Why does he need so many rules? How many will there eventually be? This video is on rule 6, which is “Abandon Ideology.” He seems to seriously believe that this is possible to do, and that he somehow does not have an ideology. However, everyone does, including him. His ideology is centered around old fashioned traditioal Conservative Christianity, along with being an anti-Social Justice Warrior.
Mindgasms Book Review on Rule 5 of the internet famous clinical psychologist, Jordan Peterson’s newest book called Beyond Order. The rule is “Do not do what you hate.” The sentiment of this rule is one that I actually like, as opposed to the many others that I think are dumb. Not worrying about “offending” people is what he really means by it in the chapter. It’s a good idea to be kind to people, but avoid obsessing with worry about saying words that offend someone. Peterson has taken this too far lately, by deliberately being an asshole to people on Twitter and in his Youtube videos for no reason. It’s also pretty selfish and antithetical to his Christian ideology to make a rule out of not doing what you hate, especially since Peterson himself talks a lot about the importance of sometimes doing things that you hate, like workiing hard, or doing your taxes. That’s why I think that the actual rule is dumb. It’s a good idea to sometimes do what you hate. We also don’t always have a choice. People need to work so we can make money to eat, etc, and Peterson praises work all the time.
