It’s hosted by the journalist, Graham Hancock, who has been studying ancient megalithic structures for decades and writing books about evidence that many of them may be significantly older than the current belief in mainstream archaeology. Ancient Apocalypse is about the Younger Dryas Impact Hypothesis, believed by more and more archaeologists along with other experts like geologists. It posits that there was a series of cataclysmic events apprximately 12 000 years ago, during the last Ice Age, which included a bombardment of massive comets. Hancock’s theory is that a technoliogically and academically advanced civilization that had already built megalithic structures were completely wiped out during the Younnger Dryas Impact. This would explain why ancient megalithic structures were possibly built far earlier than previously believed, along with why there is no evidence of this civilization.
